Pastoral Intern Program

Some of our students are called into full time ministry—especially in the rolls of pastor and missionary worker. Our desire at Calvary Chapel Bible College Uganda is to equip them for this work. We have developed a one year training course that will help them fulfill their calling, and launch them out into the mission field, or church planting mission. In addition to the Calvary Chapel Bible College two year course of studies, select students will spend another year doing the following:

  1. Personal discipleship and course training with Calvary Chapel Pastors. This in-depth training is focused on ministry topics such as: church planting, preparing sermons, and servant leadership.
  2. Hands-on ministry at a local Calvary Chapel church, assisting the ministry team, working along side staff, and even teaching group Bible studies.
  3. Vision trips and church planting work. When the time comes interns will be sent out to the area of ministry that they are called to. These interns will continue to be supported financially until they are able to develop a "tent making" trade or can be supported by the local church.
